PROJECT RISKS AND RESPONSES TO THOSE RISKS

i. If assets are not distributed by September 1, then we will need to push the entire schedule back a
week for every two days the assets are not distributed. We will kick-off the campaign as early as
possible to make sure that the assets are distributed prior to the drop-dead date. If assets are
delivered late, we will do everything in our power to make sure that the original schedule is
marginally squeezed. This is a low risk impact as we are starting early enough that a delivery on
time is still credible. There is also a low risk of this taking place, as assets are readily accessible
when it is time to start. The risk is crucial, as assets are needed for concepting to begin.
ii. If approvals are not received on time for initial concepts, then we will not be able to begin
conforming and building as set forth in the schedule. We will make sure to send units for approval
on or before the dates set forth in the schedule to insure that approvals are received in a timely
manner. If approvals are not received on time, we will do our best to move forward as much as we
can. Depending on the reviews this may or may not be possible. This is a high impact risk as
approval of concept is one of the most significant steps in being able to distribute on time. This
has a medium possibility of happening. The brand team is often busy or not in the office, so
safeguarding approvals can be challenging at times. As previously mentioned, approval of concept
is one of the most important steps in the development to distribute on time. Thus, this is a high
priority risk.
iii. If units do not receive QA approval by the rich media vendor, then we will not be able to launch
them. We have an in-house QA team that checks all units before they are submitted to official QA
for trafficking. This risk has a high impact. If units are not QA approve, they cannot be trafficked.
This has a low chance of occurring, as our in-house QA is superior to the QA provided by the rich
vendor. This is a medium priority risk as it is very rare that units are not distributed on time due to
QA issues.
