ILAG: ILAG is a Swiss company specialising in innovation and production of highperformance nonstick coatings for cookware, bakeware, housewares and kitchen
gadgets,
appliances,
and
technical
applications.
ILAFLON, ILACOLOR, DURIT, CERALON, or XERA-DUR stand out among its
coatings.
Permeation: Permeation is the process by which a substance goes through the
polymer surface through small pores or fissures
Impermeable: An element is impermeable when it is impenetrable to any fluid. Its
primary function is to extend the life of any element subject to high concentrations of
fluids or vapours in the field of nonstick and anti-corrosion coatings.
Klber: Klber was founded in Munich in 1929 and manufactures lubricants for all
industrial sectors. Its main production is oils and lubricating greases with excellent
technical performance.
Among their range one can find PTFE-based products, the so-called KLUBERTOP
coating, dry lubricant and with a low coefficient of friction. KLUBERTOP coatings
can be applied by automotive and household appliances industries.
Fuchs: Fuchs leads the worldwide production of special lubricants and stands out for
its PTFE-based coating production, e.g. Gleitmo SFL 9540, SFL Gleitmo 9563,
SFL Gleitmo 9560, SFL 9574 K1 Gleitmo PTFE, and Molybdenum Disulfi.
Both lubricants and coatings can be applied in mining, pharmaceutical, automotive,
home
appliances
and
aerospace
industries.
ECLIPSE: Eclipse is a three layer nonstick coating exclusive to Whitford. The 3layer distribution allows primer and intermediate layer to provide excellent resistance
to abrasion. Besides, the most superficial layer or topcoat layer contains a high
amount of fluoropolymers offering a great non-stick performance.
Corrosion resistance: Force preventing a material from getting rusty or corroded
by any chemical. Alloys with a low resistance to corrosion tend to be coated with
highly sealed protecting polymers, such as HALAR, TEFLON or RILSAN.
Fluorocarbon (PTFE or TFE) components are chemically inert and resistant to high
temperatures. They are mainly applied as an anti-corrosion insulator and as a nonstick
coating.
