This standard covers Inspection, examination, supplementary examinations, and pressure test requirements for resiient-seated, nonmetalic-seated (e.g, ceramic), and inetalto-metal-seated vaives of the gate, globe, plus, ball, check, and butterfly types. Resilient seats are considered to be: a) soft seats, both solid and semi-solid grease type (e.g. ica plug); . ree b) combination soft and metal seats; ©) any other type vaive designed tp meet resifient seat leakage rates as specified in Table 6. ‘AP! Inspection, Examination, and Supplementary Examination 44.
