She exudes confidence, enthusiasm, kindness, maturity, thoughtfulness, loyalty, and complete dedication. She is well spoken and is an excellent communicator. Her word choices are clear, appropriate, and itis always a pleasure to converse with her as a result, she is truly a poised individual. She is prepared for the college experience and would be an enormous asset as a University Ambassador. Ashley has sung in the Herriman High School choral music program for three years. Her understanding of what itis to be dedicated has served her well, and she has earned the unanimous respect of her peers and teacher. Performing in a musical ensemble can efficiently measure the teamwork skills of an individual. In a musical ensemble, the individual must become less so the ensemble can become more. Ego does not fit well in the honest expression that can be found in music. Ashley personally embodies these characteristics of the successful ensemble performer. She also has skills necessary to solo. Her confidence is evident, but humbly subtle. These attributes, that she has cultivated, fit so well in the team environment. Her involvement in the music department has rendered an incalculable service. Ashley has also been active in the NJHS in 9 grade, and the NHS her junior and senior years. She also participated in FCCLA her junior and senior year, and HOSA her senior year. In our choral music program she serves as treasurer, keeping track of tens of thousands of dollars through fundraisers and other program related payments. She was asked to serve in this capacity because she is completely responsible and always reliable. This position is the least glorious, and least visible officer position, but itis the most important among those positions. There is no question that Ashley is a service minded individual. Her service is genuine and does not seek reward. Itis selfless. Her talents and abilities are abounding, enabling her to perform her service quietly, without fanfare, True service is done in humility, without seeking recognition or something in return, and Ashley exemplifies that. While humble, Ashley exudes a confidence and energy that is rarely found in a high school student. Her character and personality are in constant states of engagement and attentiveness.
