GUIDELINES AND INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Downloading of more than one Hall Ticket is not permitted
2. While coming to the examination hall, please bring your Hall ticket, without which admission will not be granted.
3. The hall ticket must be presented for verification along with at least one original valid identification card ie., Passport, Pan
Card, Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Govt, Employee ID or Driving License-etc,
4. If any candidate received the hall ticket without photo / biured photo / too small photo / photo without signature, the
candidate should bring 3 Passport size photos duly attested by Gazetted Officer and hand over the same to the Invigilator in‘the examination hall, faimg wach the candidate will not be admitted to the exammation.
5. Candidates are allowed inside the test centre from 8:30 AM onwards for the Forenoon Session and from 1.00
PM onwards for the Afternoon Session as the candidates have to undergo certain procedural formalities required
for online examination. The test centre gate will be closed at 9:30 AM for the Forenoon Session and 2:00 PM for
the Afternoon Session. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Test Centre after closing the gate.
6. The check-in procedural inside the test hall includes capturing the image and left thumb print. This is a security
feature which will allow APPSC to crosscheck the identity and also to prevent impersonation cases. Therefore,
they are advised not to apply any external matter like mehandi, ink etc on their Hands / Feet.
7. Candidates will be permitted to occupy their allotted seats as and when they completed the Bio-metric procedure before
the scheduled start of the Examination. After the completion of the Bio-metric, no candidate is allowed to leave the allotted
room / Hall.
&. Candidates will be permitted to appear for the Test, only after their credentials are verified by centre officials and after
fiisking to ensure that no prohibited articles are carried
9. Candidates are not allowed to bring any Electronic devices such as Mobile! Cell phones, programmable calculators,
Tablets, I-Pad, Bluetooth, Pagers or any other device capable of interacting/programming to the examination Centre.
10. Candidates are expected to behave in orderly and discipined manner while taking the examination. The candidature will be
rejected in such cases, in case of impersonation! disorder /Rowdy behavior daring examination. Necessary FIR for the incident
will be lodged with concemed Police station apart from disqualifying the candidature. The centre Superintendent/Chief
inviglator is duly authorized to take spot action in such cases under Regulation PME (Please refer G.O.Ms.No.385 of GAD,
Dt. 18.10.2016).
11. Any violation of the above leads to disqualification of candidature.
12. The total duration of the examination for each paper is 150 minutes. The General Studies Paper-I will be in English with
‘Tefugu translation. The English version will be considered as authentic for valuation purpose.
‘The Paper-Il and Paper-III will be in English only as per the existing pattern
13. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall till the expiry of full time.
14. Admission to the examination is provisional subject to the confirmation/satisfaction of conditions laid down in Notification
06/2016 and also subject to satisfving the elizibilty criteria and verification of required certificates at a later stage. Admission /
Appearing to the Examination does not confer ipso facto tight for recruitment / selection.
15. Candidates are prohibited from communicating, consulting or conversing with other candidates in the Examination ball or
causing disturbance in any manner whatsoever. Candidates are prohibited to borrow any tem from other candidates in the
Exam-Hall, in case of any disturbance, such candidates would be disqualified
16. Violation of any of the instructions may lead to invalidation of candidature besides penal action. Rules of punishment are
govemed by Regulation PME notified vide G.OMsNo.385, GAD (Ser-A) Dept, Dt 18/10/2016 with regard to
Malpractice / Misbehavior in the examinations conducted by the APPSC. For details candidates shall refer to the G.O
available on website of APPSC.
17. Only those candidates, who are totally blind and who do not have both the upper limbs in the category of Orthopedically
cisabled will be provided with the scribe at the On-line examination. A Candidate is also allowed to bring his own scribe as
per Office Memo F.No.16-110/2003-DD.III, Government of India — Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment,
Department of Disability Affairs, Dated: 26/02/2013 after prior intimation to the Commission. In such cases scribe shall carry
identity proof. Candidates who are blind will get extra time of 20 mimtes per hour but no extra time is allowed to such
candidates who did not have both the upper limbs in the category of orthopedically disabled. An extra time of 20 minutes per
hhour is also permitted for the candidates with Locomotors Disability and Cerebral palsy (minimum of 40% impairment). No
Scribe is allowed for such candidates
18. Candidates are advised not to bring the Original Certificates like S.'S.C, B.Tech’ B.E. Degree. certificate of Integrated
Community certificates, Non-Creamy Layer for B.C candidates, Study from Class-IV to X to the examination hall but keep
them ready for productioa at a later date.
19. ANY VIOLATION OF THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS SHALL ENTAIL DISCIPLINARY ACTION ON THE
CANDIDATE WHICH MAY INCLUDE DEBARMENT FROM APPEARING ANY OF FUTURE TESTS OF APPSC
AND OTHER PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONS IN THE COUNTRY.
