[STATEMENT TO THE PRESS AND OTHER MEDIA ON BEHALF OF DAVID OSADEBAY ‘Mr Osadebay whois beter known to the public under his stage name CBle was charged With the Murder of Olver Tetlow and today has been found not guilty He has asked me as his olitor to make the following statement on his behalf; ‘Mr Osadebay would ike me to stat by stressing that nothing In this statement sintended ‘0 ake away or deflect gublic attention from the awful nature of what happened to Oliver Tetlow or to increase in anyway the grief and suffering of his family. ‘Whilst he remained accused ofthe murder of Mr Tetlow it would have been Inappropriate ‘and unkind to for him tosay anything to Mr Tetlow’s family, but now that his name has ‘been cleared, Mr Osadebay wishes to extend his sympathy and condolences to them for the tragic and heart-breakng loss of their son ‘Mr Osadebay is gratefulo the Judge inthe case, who in a careful and detailed sulin esterday found that thre was no case fr him to answer. Legally this means thatthe case had been shown to be se weak that it was not worthy of consideration by the Jr. itis with immense relief 0 Mr Osadebay, his family and his friends and of course to his followers, that he can naw put this false accusation behind him and resume his musica lam sure everyone will understand that he sil feels deeply agerieved by having to spend 8 ‘months in all waiting forhisname to be cleared and having to put his family and professional ifeon hold n the meantime. ‘whilst ie Osadebay understands thatthe police have aob todo, itis a matter continued disappointment to him that they chose to believe social media speculation and fase stories about his involvement inthe murder of Olver Tetlow and then tried to build @| ‘lecumstantial case around the flawed theory that he was behind the crime Mr Osadebay would Iike-0 thank all those who expressed support for him throughout his, ‘ordeal; as well of course sal the family and friends who have stood by him and offored thei support “Most of alle is looking forward to spending time with his family as being separate from ‘them hasbeen the worst part ofthe last & months.
