Conducted a workshop on Face recognition using deep learning for around 100 students
as a part of PROBE16, The National technical symposium of the Electronics and
Communication Engineering department.
Placed among top 10 over 250 participants in MDecoder - Math based online aptitude
test conducted in Pragyan16, an international techno-management festival of NIT Trichy.
Project on Aadhaar ID and Face verification based mobile banking system got
shortlisted for Sangam and Exhibitions, Pragyan16, an international techno-management
festival of NIT Trichy.
Secured 1st place in District level Tamil Essay Writing Competition conducted by Chennai
Petroleum Corporation Limited in 2012 and 2nd place in District Level Tamil Essay
Writing Competition conducted by Cresk-Creating awareness, a non-Governmental
forum.
Secured State level Runner up-4 in All India UCMAS Mental Arithmetic Competition in

PROJECT WORK/ TRAINING
Water Watch
(July 2016 - present)
This was the project proposal that got selected in IOT-lab nit trichy. This is an IOT based
project which is mainly aimed at determining the purity of water in real time and also gives
information about the water level. The user can view the percentage purity of water through
an app or web. If the water is not potable then an alert message is sent to the user.
Summer Internship at NEXGTech Wireless systems Pvt.Ltd. ( May 2016 - July 2016)
The internship Program pertaining to Defense Electronics and Communication guided by Dr.
Padmanaban Ramasamy, Director R&D, NEXGTech Research Labs, Chennai, explored the
concepts of LTE , Mobile Ad-hoc network and vehicular Ad-hoc network simulation.
Aadhaar Id And Face Verification Based Mobile Banking System( Dec 2015-Feb 2016)
Worked on to understand deep learning (Convolution neural networks) and implemented
Face recognition using it. Developed an android application to act as a payment gateway. The
username was Aadhaar Id as it is a unique identity of each individual and the password was
the face. The photo was captured and checked whether the user was authenticated or not.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Manager of Events- Labyrinth Team16 of Pragyan, an international techno-management
festival of NIT Trichy.
Event Coordinator, Public Relations Team of Festember -National Level annual cultural
festival of NIT Trichy.
Member of Tamil Mandram Official Tamil Literary Club of Nit trichy.
Overall Coordinator of the Vithai 16- a Tamil literary event conducted for the students of
NIT trichy.
Cultural Activities:
Secured 1st place in cini quiz, 2nd place and 3rd place in tamil literary events in NITTFEST, an
inter-department cultural festival of NIT trichy.
Secured 1st place in Spoof Competition in a cultural Fest AGNI conducted by DAV
gopalapuram in which around 40 schools in Chennai participated.
