Title: Assembly, Administration and Analysis of Classroom Test

Objective: To be able to create a classroom test that has been reviewed, well
prepared, reproduced
accordingly, and properly analyzed.
Introduction: After making the test questionnaires. The teacher needs to do more
modifications in order to properly administer and organize the exam properly. This
chapter discusses the techniques on how the teacher should properly work on the
examination and how the test items should be scored.

Summary:
The lesson will start with the comparison of the old strategy of storing test
items to the modern one. The old strategy uses index cards to store item questions
that can be used in making examinations while the modern strategy uses Microsoft
Excel to create different spreadsheets that contains test items. Hence, making the
modern technique more efficient and effective.
The next lesson that will discuss about the importance of reviewing the test
items. First is the identification of the errors made by the creator of the test in this
case its the teacher. You can find the errors by reviewing it by yourself after making
it or by asking your fellow teachers to search for the mistakes that have been made
in the making of the examination. The things that you need to check in the
examinations are: 1.) Are the test appropriate for the examiners to measure the
outcome? 2.) Are the test questionnaires understandable? 3.) Are there any
grammatical or technical errors? And 4.) Are there any biases that have been made
in the statements in the test?
After the test is written we need to arrange the test items accordingly. The
test items should be arrange according to the following techniques:

All item types that has a same format should be group together.
The arrangement of the parts of the test should follow on which lesson
is presented first and last.
Other type of arrangement is arranging it by difficulty. (ex. Easy to
difficult)
The diagrams that are use must be place on top of the questions that
will depend on it.
When the test covers different item types, it must be indicated.

The next important thing that must be done in making a test are the
instructions. Instructions are sometimes being overlooked when making an exam
thus causing a confusion for the students. Taylor Greer and Mussio created a list of
techniques in creating the test instructions:
