Martin Luther king is one of the characters that have marked the history of

the United States, his struggle for the rights of people achieved great
changes in the politics of his country. He was born on Janury 15, 1929, died
on April 4, 1968. He was a religious and minister of the Baptist church who
sought the equality of African American civil rights, who suffered enormous
inequalities and racism from a large sector of Americans. On the other hand,
he organized and carried out different marches in favor of the right to vote,
non-discrimination, and other civil right that are considered as basic. With
the dream of achieving equality in rights for colored people, he organized
peaceful marches; his achievements earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in
1964. There are those who consider that he became a famous for his I
Have a Dream speech , which was given in front of the Lincoln Memorial
during the March in Washington for work and freedom in 1963. He died on
April 4, 1968 in the hospital after receiving a bullet in the cheek. The killer
was James Earl Ray , who had gathered information from newspapers and
the news to know where the African American Leader was .
