Philosophy
I am an early childhood educator and a graduate from Wheelock College with 2 years
of full-time working experience in a preschool. I strongly believe that children thrive
best in a nurturing and enriching environment that provides them with the
opportunities to create close and secure relationships with the adults and other
children. I also believe that the learning environment should respect and empower
childrens ideas and work through frequent showcasing and documenting their work
in the classrooms. As children are active learners, it is also important for me to
cultivate their curious minds through providing various appropriate learning materials
that are well altered to their learning needs and levels. Apart from cultivating
childrens learning, it is also my responsibility to include families and communities in
the childrens learning through close family-school partnerships. Education have
taught me that such partnerships will further support childrens learning
