Dear First Grade Families,

I cant believe that we are already reaching the end of
quarter 2 this week. I have begun looking back at your
little ones work in order to generate grades and
comments for their report cards. Reflecting on each childs
progress, I am amazed with how far all of my learners
have progressed during the first half of the year.
Reflecting on your childs abilities and areas for growth
leads me to look introspectively at my own practice, and
how I can improve my teaching to better support their
learning. With this in mind, I will be sending home a
questionnaire this week for you to fill out, in order for me
to find areas for growth in my teaching. Think of this like
you writing a report card for me.
This week we will continue to use the flipped learning
model. Videos can be found in the Flipped Classroom
section of our website under the unit of inquiry of
weather and will be listed below in the flipped classroom
section of our newsletter.
