The number of above vacancies may change as per requirement. 2. AE (Trainees) (E&M) & JE(Trainees)(E&M) may have to work in shift duties as per requirement, roster schedules and shift policy as applicable from time to time. 3. Examination Centro & Selection Process:- Selection Processes for above post will be based on written Test (Computer Based Test) CBT and Interview. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held at Agra, Allahabad, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mathura Varanasi & Greater Noida Cities. U.P. Rajya Vieyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd., however, have the right to cancel any of the Examination city/Center and/or add some another GitiesiCenters depending upon the requirement, administrative feasibility, or any force-majeure conditions etc... The test shall be of objective type total 200 marks and shall comprise of total 200 questions, out of which 150 questions shall be from the Degree/Diploma level Engineering ‘branch syllabus for the post applied, 20 questions of General Knowledge/Awareness, 20 questions of Reasoning and 10 questions of General Hindi. Each correct answer shall carry one mark each and each wrong answer shail cary negative mark of 0.25. Candidates of Un- Reserved/OBC who obiain less than 33% marks in CBT and SC/ST candidates who obtained less than 28% marks in the CBT will not be eligible to be considered for selection. Interview carrying 25 marks will be conducted at Lucknow only. Maximum numbers of candidates short listed for will be equal to 3 times the number of vacancies in each category.
