    Component shown in figure is used as clamp in punching press.

    The dimensions of
    the component are given in attached document. The analysis has been done on the
    COMSOL Multiphysics.

    The component is made of brass .The front view of the component shown in figure
    which is fixed and the load of 1000N is applied on the other face of the
    component .The boundary conditions are given as fixed boundary with linear elastic
    material.

    The stress induced in the middle part(circular and rectangular hole) is shown in the
    figure at a different points in the component.
