This is only Notes for now in the future this would be an Instructions page!
This program can do 2 Guns - up to 4 Matches & 145 Shooters.
Make sure you read and understand Notes & Cautions Below!
Starting a New Match:
Click "Assign Random" to do a Random Sort and/or assign benches based on what you entered on the Main page.
Assign Benches. (Example: Relay 1 Bench 1 would be 101, Relay 2 Bench 3 would be 203 etc)
You will only do this once for each event & shooters rotate a set number of benches for each match.
You will also have the option to create a worksheet with all your shooters and their bench assignments.
Most ranges will print & hang a copy of the bench assignments so shooters know where they will be shooting.
After all Names are in and Benches assigned click on "Go To Scores" and you are ready to start scoring.
On the scores page delete unused ID's and sort. This will make it easier to score.
Any time you are entering scores it can help to Sort ID's first if they are not in order.
ShootOff: (Only works for 1 or 2 Matches)
You have to manually select the shooters who will be in the Shoot Off by putting a letter next to their
name in the S/O column!! (G for group & S for Score works best) Note: Do Not Use any Numbers!
For example:
After Match one is complete and the Scores have been entered.
Sort on Group and then put a g next to the low group shooter for each relay.
Then Sort on Score and put an s next to the low score shooter for each relay who do not have a g.
For example for 3 Relays you will have six names with letters next to them.
Now click Get Shoot Off Shooters and this will open a place to enter their scores.
After entering the Shootoff Scores you can Click 'Sort Shoot Off' To show their Place starting with Group.
Email:
The Email Button is used after the match to create a results & equipment file that can be saved sent to IBS as
an email attachment.
It can also be used during or after the match to produce a formatted workbook with the Results & Equip
that could be Posted or handed out.
Notes & Cautions:
PLEASE - PLEASE Do Not put anything like DQ, NotHere ETC in the scores!!! I.E. DQ - leave score Blank!!
A Shooter MUST have an ID in the relay bench format. (101 201 etc)
A Shooters ID never changes!! It needs to stay the same for all matches for everything to work.
If you want to remove a Shooter or an ID just click on it and hit delete on your keyboard.
Never Right click & Delete anything.
Never Try to change the formatting on a Shooter Name.
Once you have entered any scores you will not have the option to do a 'Assign Random Benches'
If you accidentally delete a Formula Clicking on ID Sort might repair them.
Only Use a selection in the 'Get Winners' Dropdown after the associated Matches are scored.
The Get Winners DropDown will Sort the Shooters during & after the match and show their ranking.
The LkUp Table is a Database with Names that are used on the Scores page Name Drop Down boxes.
There is also a place to choose all your shooters Light & Heavy Equipment so you only have to update from
time to time and not have to retype it for every match.
This saves a lot of time setting up for a match and more important reduces typing errors.
