Bible Verse Conditionals
Romans 10:9 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Conditional: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, then you will be saved. True
Converse: You will be saved if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in
your heart that God raised him from the dead. True
Inverse: If you do not confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, then you will not be saved. True
Contrapositive: You will not be saved if you do not confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. True
Reflection:
For you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that
God raised him from the dead, is a true fact from the Bible. It contains the idea that God will let
us into heaven if we tell the truth and confess our sins.

As Catholics, we believe going to confession is routinely to get to heaven. Being saved is

are way of afterlife. When we die, we believe, if we accepted God as our savior and follow his
rules, then we will be saved, but if we did not follow his rules, then we will go to hell. Romans
10:9 is a true statement. Logically, if the conditional is true then the contrapositive is true and if
the converse is true, then so is the inverse. Keeping that in mind, all my conditionals are true.
You will be saved if you confess with your mouth that Jesus us Lord and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, if you do not confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will not be saved if you do not
confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from
the dead. Remember to confess to God and you will be saved.
All in all, For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Is a true conditional and means that
by confessing our sins we get saved.
