    Que.: Mr. A was drawing pay of Rs. 970/- per month in the scale of Rs.

    800-400 w.e.f. 01.01.1980. He was promoted to a higher post in the pay scale of
    Rs. 1200-1850 w.e.f. 01.06.1982 but reverted to lower post from w.ef.
    25.05.1983. he was again appointed to the same higher post w.e.f. 10.07.1983.
    Fix his pay and find out next date of increment.
