I am writing you with the intent of explaining why I highly recommend Andrew Volk
for admission to Ferris State University. Maybe even more specifically to the PGM
program at your university.
I have known Andrew for his entire life and more recently have had the privilege of
coaching him in both hockey and golf. This past season he was the team leader on
the Tawas Area High School Division III State Champion Golf team. Obviously, from a
golf standpoint he is very gifted.
More importantly, the reason he should be admitted into your university is because
he is a great leader, he is passionate about bettering himself, he has the drive to be a
successful student and citizen at FSU and first and foremost he will represent your
university as an alumnus one day in a great manner.
Andrew has a true passion for the game of golf, both playing and teaching others.
He has always achieved great success with the things that have really inspired him.
Your university and PGM program will allow him to further his respect for the game
and leave it even better than he found it.
He is a fine young man that would be an asset as a student at Ferris State University.
I am certain his citizenship would be a benefit to those that would educate him as
well as those that will cross paths with Andrew in his time there.
