CourseObjectives:
1.Tooffertheopportunityfortheyoungstudentstoacquireonjobtheskills,knowledge,
attitudes,andperceptionsalongwiththeexperienceneededtoconstituteaprofessional
identity.
2.Toprovidemeanstoimmersestudentsinactualsupervisedprofessionalexperiences
3.Togaindeeperunderstandinginspecificareas.
Guidelines:
1.ThestudentshallworkunderthesupervisionoftheFacultyandcarryoutadissertation
andsubmitastructuredreportinTWOhardcopies&onesoftcopy(CD).Dissertation
reporttobeprintedonbothsidesofthepaper.
2.Thestudentisrequiredtoconductadvancedresearchonatopicrelatedtoone(ormore)
ofcontemporaryissuesinmanagement.Thetopicischoseninconsultationwiththe
student'ssupervisor.ADissertationProposalneedstobesubmitted,itshouldbeconsisting
of
1.Name of the students
2.Title of dissertation
3.Objectives
4.Scope
5.Relevance of the topic selected.
3.Thestudentwillprepareandpresentadetailedresearchproposalpriortostartingthe
work.Itismandatoryforthestudenttoseekadvancewrittenapprovalfromthefaculty
guideandtheDirectoroftheInstituteaboutthetopicbeforecommencingthedissertation
work.
4.Adissertationoutliningtheentireproblem,includingasurveyofliteratureandthe
variousresultsobtainedalongwiththeirsolutionsisexpectedtobeproduced.
5.Thestudentmustsubmitthecompleteddissertationandmakeanoralpresentationof
thesame.
6.Throughthedissertation,thestudentisexpectedtofurnishevidenceofcompetencein
understandingvariedaspectsofthetheme/topicselectedandadeepunderstandingofthe
specialtyarea.
7.Thecompletionofthedissertation/projectshallbecertifiedbytheFacultyGuide&
approvedbytheDirectoroftheInstitute.
8.DissertationvivawillbeconductedinthemonthofMarch.
