BLANK SCREEN

Lucy gives a voice-over of who she is and what her story

is.
LUCY (V.O)
Im not sure what is happening.
But we are in the car going
somewhere I really dont want to
go.
In the blue car heading to their new home. Both girls look
towards the back of the car - looking behind them through
the window for a few seconds.
(CUT TO)

INT. SOCIAL SERVICES (MEETING ROOM)

The two sisters are sat opposite their social worker.

SOCIAL WORKER
the court has decided that you
can go home and you will be going
their on a trial basis for a
couple of days.
LUCY
Livvy, whats going on.
OLIVIA
Theyre sending us back to mummy
and daddy.
(CUT TO)

INT. PARENTS HOUSE (...)

The youngest of the children (LUCY) runs up to her mum to

show her what she had made that day during school. She has
a really happy expression as she is very proud about what
she has made at school. The mum has a disappointed but yet
sad expression on her face as she doesnt care about it
what she had made.
LUCY
Mum! look what I made!
MOTHER
I dont care... go away!

LUCY
MOTHER

Go!
(CUT TO)

INT. PARENTS HOUSE (...)

LUCY knocks over her CUP containing juice onto the table
and floor. her mother then reacts angrily towards her.
LUCYs mother is right up in her face shouting at her.
LUCY
Im sorry mummy, im sorry. it
was an accident... i didnt mean
too...
MOTHER
Youre so stupid! You useless
child! Youre always doing stuff
like this! You do it deliberately
just to annoy me!
LUCY
LUCYS face starts to look sad/afraid and looks away in
fear.
(CUT TO)

INT. PARENTS HOUSE (LOUNGE) - EVENING

OLIVIA and LUCY are sat playing in the lounge, when their
MOTHER storms in and aggressively drags LUCY away from
OLIVIA. LUCY becomes frightened and starts fighting back
against her MOTHER.
LUCY
What are you doing? Get off me!
OLIVIA help me!!
OlIVIA rushes to her younger sisters aid, and trys to
remover her MOTHERS grip from LUCYS arm. This escalates
the problem and the girls MOTHER becomes physical.
MOTHER
You stupid girl, why do you
always have to get involved.

Their MOTHER grabs OLIVIAS arm and slaps OLVIA around the
face, before turning her attention back to her younger
daughter shaking in the corner.
MOTHER
This is all your fault, if you
had just co-operated with me then
your sister wouldnt have gotten
hurt.
LUCY
Please dont hurt me! I promise
to be good from now on.
MOTHER
No, I dont believe you! if you
cant be good now, how do I know
you will in the future.
The girls MOTHER grabs LUCY by her hair and pulls her up
before kicking her down near her sister. OLIVIA moves
in-front of LUCY before their MOTHER could kick them.
OLIVIA screams in pain and LUCY lets out a muffled cry as
she hides behind her hands.

INT. LUCY CRYING

LUCY is sat in the corner of the room crying into her

knees. She lifts up her head revealing scars and marks all
over her face while sniffling and trying to hold back
tears.
