Exam Dates and Rehearsals

Exam entries are due Wednesday June 1st

Exam Rehearsal STUDIO 1 - Sunday 10th July 9am 6pm (times for each grade will be given
out closer to the date)
Major Ballet Exam Rehearsals Sat 16th July
Major Ballet Exams Sun 17th July Sun 24th July
Exam Dress Rehearsal STUDIO 1 - Sunday 31st July 9am 6pm (times for each grade will be
given out closer to the date and parents will be able to view this rehearsal)
Exams will commence August 1st 2017 August 31st (We will be allocated our days later in
the year)
Public Exams are held at Sacred Heart College on the 27th August 2017
CSTD dance convention Thursday 1st Sep (TBC)

Exam Class Attire

Jazz Exam Class leotard and shorts or crop top and shorts
Tap Exam Class leotard and shorts or crop top and shorts
Classical Exam Class Black leotard /pink ballet stockings/ballet shoes/hair in neat ballet bun

Exam Costumes
Jazz Exam Black CSTD leotard to be purchased and Studio leggings to be purchased (hair in bun
with curly sue and dark camel painted jazz shoes)
Tap Exam Leotard/skirt and headpiece hire $10 (hair in bun with curly sue and dark camel painted
tap shoes)
Classical Exam Black CSTD leotard to be purchased, pink ballet stockings/pink ballet shoes with
ribbons (higher grades may need character shoes/character skirt/demi or pointe shoes) (hair in plain
ballet bun)

Exam Music
Exam music will be available to purchase by Saturday March 18th (Exams CDs are $5 each)
Classical Theory/Tap Theory books will also be available by this date (Books are $2 each)
