WHAT WE DO

Raise the Roof was founded by Holly Bantleman in 2011 after an eye
opening trip to Kenya. With a passion for community development a love for
the people she met and a commitment to ending poverty, she set about to
make a sustainable change. Now, armed with an incredible team of
volunteers and a successful working model, RTR works with communities to
build their visions, sustainably.
63% of youths aged between 16-22 in Barut have never received

secondary education (Raise the Roof, 2012)

Only 76% of girls complete primary school in Kenya (Unicef,2004 )

6.3% of people in Nakuru are HIV positive, and only 40% are being treated
