Keyboard Removal Guide

Lenovo G570 G575 Series


Removal may vary slightly from model to model.

First, remove the battery.

Next, remove the memory bay compartment cover.

Now, with the cover removed, unscrew the 3 screws as shown. Next to each of the screws is a small sketch of a
keyboard etched into the plastic casing to help guide you.

Next, with the laptop opened up, push back the 5 tabs which are located above the 'F1', 'F7', 'F11', 'INSERT' and
'PAGE UP' keys. Then, lift up on the keyboard.

The final step is unlocking the keyboard cable from the motherboard. To do this, simply lift the lockdown clip
approximately 90 degrees.

You are done! Reverse procedure to install your new keyboard.
