In The Wife of Baths Tale by Chaucer, referring to the knights code,


the knight is not chivalrous because he broke To respect the honour of
women, To reject unfairness, meanness and deceit and To live by honour
and for glory. In The Wife of Baths Tale by Chaucer, the knight is not
chivalrous because he broke the code To respect the honour of women. I
know this because in the story, the knight seen a girl all alone when he was
riding down the river and by very force he took her maidenhead. Showing
that, in the story the knight did not respect or honour that women. In The
Wife of Baths Tale by Chaucer, the knight is not chivalrous because he is
supposing to refrain from the wanton giving of offence. The knight made a
violent act upon the women he seen on her lonesome. Proving that, in the
story, the knight did not refrain from the wanton giving of offence. In The
Wife of Baths Tale by Chaucer, the knight is not chivalrous because he is
supposing to live by glory and honour. In the story, the knight was sentenced
to death which is not something glories for a knight to be involved in. In
Closing, the knight from The Wife of Baths Tale by Chaucer, is not
chivalrous because he broke To respect the honour of women, To reject
unfairness, meanness and deceit and To live by honour and for glory.
