Dear Parents/Guardians,
My name is Caroline Bartlett and I would like to formally introduce myself to you. I am in my
senior year at the University of Arizona and will be student teaching under the guidance of your
childs 7th grade English Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Sotelo, this spring 2016 semester. During
my student teaching, I will be co-teaching with her and will consequently be an additional
teacher of your child for the remainder of the school year.
I am from Boulder, Colorado, but have lived in Tucson for the past four years while I have been
in college. I have grown to love the desert and its lack of snow during these years! My interests
include: hiking, watching U of A basketball games, traveling, and reading many, many books!
I have looked forward to this time of my college career and am excited to get to know and learn
from your 7th grader this semester. I look forward to meeting you at some point during the
