I.

Brief History
In 1975, Good Taste cafeteria was established by Virginia Pal-a Go and Go Long located
at 8-9 Lapulapu Street, Baguio City. It took several years before the cafeteria had gain popularity
in Baguio. Because of the help and persistence of the five sisters, Merry, Dolor, Cecilia, Nancy
and Lilia, their business continues. In 1999, the business was handed to Alfredo Pal-a Go, current
owner of the renowned Good Taste Restaurant. He immediately renovated and beautified the
place to cope up with the change of trend. The business was very popular in their menu having
buttered chicken as one of their marked specialties and exquisite Filipino foods. On February 5,
2012, the new Good Taste Restaurant was built at Corner Otek Street and Cario Street. Good
Taste Restaurant at present practices fast and quick dining.

II. Business Process


Good Taste is currently using a Point of Sale (POS) System. The customers orders and
other documents are recorded in their system. When a customer has already ordered and they
need to have an additional order, they can use the PDA, a wireless computer, where they can
input their orders with the help of the supervisor, and it is directed to the system. Another way to
get the order of the customers is thru call which is also directed to their system. They also noted
how many customers are in a table to make sure that each coming customer will have a seat. The
business also provides discounts to senior citizens. In terms of their menu, they have a lot to
choose from but they assure it that all of it is available to serve in which it enters in the
inventory. The inventories will determine an order if it has its raw materials to be cooked.

III. Users
Supervisor he/she manages the service crew
Service crew theyre the ones serving the orders of the customers
Chief cook he/she sees to it that every cook is doing their part and instructs them
Cook theyre the ones cooking the orders of the customers
Fry cook in charge specifically in frying the raw.
Dishwasher they washes the dishes and kitchen utensils
Dispatcher they load and unload orders to and from the elevator
Beverage dispatcher in charge specifically in putting in and out of drinks

Janitor they keep the cleanliness of the area


Cashier they receive the customers order and payment
Guard they keep the security of the area
