We use the imperative to tell one person, or two or more people,


to do something, or not to do something.

Positive
Close the door!
Sit on this chair !

Ex :Sit on this chair!


Write your name!
Close the door!

When we want someone to do something, we begin the


sentence with the verb .
Ex : Sit down ! Say 'hello' !
When we want someone not to do something, we begin with
Don't and then put the verb (Kt.Kerja).
Ex : Don't sit there! Don't write your name there! Don't say
'goodbye'! Don't close the door!
