AT MICHIGAN STATE PARKS!
For our veterans and others who prefer a quieter way to celebrate
the Fourth of July, the following Michigan state parks
and recreation areas are located away from community fireworks
shows:
Bewabic State Park (Iron Co.)
Brighton Recreation Area-Bishop Lake Campground (Livingston Co.)
Cheyboygan State Park (Cheboygan Co.)
Craig Lake State Park (Baraga Co.)
Hayes State Park (Lenawee Co.)
Lake Hudson State Park (Lenawee Co.)
Leelanau State Park (Leelanau Co.)
Rifle River Recreation Area (Ogemaw Co.)
Sleepy Hollow State Park (Clinton Co.)
Tippy Dam Recreation Area (Manistee Co.)
Wells State Park (Menominee Co.)
