The deployment of integrated Multitone EkoTek and
EkoSecure systems has been shown to reduce accidents and
assaults in the first place, to minimise response times when they
do occur, and greatly to enhance staff peace of mind, confidence
and productivity, and to reduce absenteeism through stress.
Team members who carry our devices can activate an alarm
in an assist or emergency mode when they need to. An
alarm can also be designated to be sent if man down or dead
man is detected, or if the device is snatched from the user.

Radio the most reliable alarm technology

This message is transmitted across a smart radio-based

network of beacons and repeaters to the Multitone hub,
which sends it to a pre-set colleague or group. Any
response is immediately acknowledged back to the initiator
for peace of mind.

Our devices are powered by replaceable or rechargeable

batteries, whichever better suits your needs, and can be IP67
compliant for resistance to water, liquids and dust.

In the event of no response within a pre-configured time, the

alarm is escalated perhaps to supervisors with pagers or
two-way radios or via managers mobile phones.

Multitones dedicated radio platform was developed to

provide enhanced reliability and accuracy over infra-red (IR)
or Wi-Fi location solutions. IR can struggle to transmit through
objects such as the person they have been designed to
protect, and Wi-Fi offers poor accuracy.
The Multitone radio network offers reliability through mesh,
technology, meaning that, in the unlikely event of a beacon
or repeater failing, the message will be transmitted across an
alternative pathway.

EkoSecure is widely used in environments with sizeable

interior and exterior territory, such as college campuses,
industry/commerce sites and shopping malls, offering
outstanding security for your staff that would otherwise be
impossible without extensive investment.

EkoTek devices can be anti-microbial for clinical

environments. They can be configured to work only with a
double press, to minimise false alarms. EkoTek repeaters
are battery operated and wireless, requiring no cabling, and
therefore delivering a more economic and independent
infrastructure. The hub is mains powered with battery backup.
EkoTek can be used in conjunction with mapping and
documentation software that can not only identify the precise
location of any alarm on an intuitive map, but also report on
the patterns of alarms over time to ag up blackspots or
problem times.

EkoSecure utilises IP66 compliant repeaters, which can

withstand the worst of weather conditions, with a range of
60 metres, allowing effective coverage of large areas for a
modest investment. The repeaters are mains powered with
battery backup.
