Dear Senior Portfolio Committee,
I am writing this letter to get the approval of my senior portfolio. With the acceptance of my
senior portfolio, I will be able to graduate high school and start my post high-school education
by majoring in Civil Engineering. I hope that you clearly understand my intentions and
appreciate what I have to offer.
I believe that through my experiences in Buckingham, I have obtained the academic skills
necessary to graduate and pursue my future. In my first year, I met my favorite teacher, Mr. Ford.
He taught me the secrets of art and how to paint on different materials. Indeed, I learned many
skills in art like creativity, focus, and patience. In my second year, I met the best Spanish teacher,
Seora Jara. She taught me Spanish 1 and 2. Through her rigorous course, I learned to make a
conversation with someone and learned to understand many phrases. My third year at
Buckingham was the hardest year due to AP Calculus and Physics. In the end, I earned Bs in
both classes. At this point, I am working very hard to maintain my G.P.A. in order to obtain the
Presidents Education Award in May. In brief, high school is coming to an end and I need to
prepare for the future.
My immediate future plans are to go to UC Davis and graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Civil
Engineering. If route A doesnt work then I will go to Solano Community College and transfer to
UC Davis after two years. In fact, I am willing to focus on the study of buildings and how to defy
gravity. After college, I would want to work with my degree in Southern California and start life
there. Furthermore, I want to make my dream a reality and the reason why I am the right person
because I am very talented, organized, and ready for any challenge. I would love to accomplish
my dream and this would happen with my acceptance of my senior portfolio.
