Motor Vehicle Crash
On January 31, 2017 at 7:00 P.M., the Hatfield Township Police Department responded to
the area of Bethlehem Pike and Line Lexington Road for a two-vehicle crash with
injuries.
Upon arrival, Police found a white 2010 Ford Fusion in the southbound lanes with heavy
front end damage. Officers also found a black Honda Accord that had overturned in the
parking lot of 1010 Bethlehem Pike.
Due to severe injuries sustained in the crash, the driver of the Ford was transported by
ambulance to Abington Memorial Hospital, while the passenger in the Ford was flown
via JeffSTAT helicopter to Abington Memorial Hospital as well. The driver of the Honda
was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital. Names are being withheld at
this time.
The Hatfield Township Police Department Highway Safety Unit is continuing its
investigation into this crash. Assisting agencies at the scene were the Hilltown Township
Police Department, JeffSTAT, Volunteer Medical Services Corps, Colmar Fire
Department, Colmar Fire Police and Souderton Ambulance. Anyone with information
