To whom it may concern:
Lam very pleased to be writing a letter of reference in support of Sukhveer
Dhugga, who I have gotten to know in different roles for over the last fourteen
years. My first interactions with Sukhveer were as a parent in my Kindergarten
class in 2003, as I was privileged to teach both of her children while they were in
Kindergarten.
As she began to develop an interest in working with children in a school setting,
Sukhveer became the lunchroom supervisor in my classroom during the 2010/2011
‘and 2011/2012 school years. Over the time she worked with us, Sukhveer
demonstrated both patience and understanding with the students in my class. Even
when students would present her with challenging behavior, Sukhveer would look
for the good in each student and demonstrated a caring and understanding
approach during her interactions with them. She was a hard worker, reliable and
always came on time!
During the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 school years, Sukhveer increased her
involvement in our school. In between her courses and training, not only did she fill
in for lunchroom supervisors on a supply basis, but our school began to call her to
work with students with special needs and as a supply Designated Early Childhood
Educator, when jobs were not filled by our absence management system. Any time
my ECE partner and Teaching Assistant were away, it would be my preference to
have Sukhveer in my classroom as she was so familiar with the children and our
routines, She continually became more confident and knowledgeable in her
different roles. She managed the special needs students capably and grew in her
role as Supply ECE with each opportunity. Sukhveer also volunteered in our school
library and office, accompanied us on field trips and even volunteered at our
Welcome to Kindergarten night when we meet all of the incoming year one
students. Sukhveer sought volunteer experience in many different areas of our
school, After some time away from the school setting, Sukhveer returned for a
short assignment during the 2015/2016 school year.

force, What has impressed me most about Sukhveer Dhugga is her desire to learn,
+o improve her skills and to work towards her goal of teaching children in a school.
She is a special person, a steady worker and I would strongly recommend that she
be given a chance to prove herself in the position to which she is applying.
Tf I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to call me at
