PMT Upgrade Guide

1. omcr team Send the final 4.12 NodeB xml to site

engineers by email and site engineers use
PMT_Maker_V0107P02 to prepare USB Disk and site
image by steps below :
Open USB Disk to check, should include 3 files:
2. Site engineer insert USB Disk to PMT usb port and
connect to debug port of CC board by LAN cable:

3. Switch off Function button and switch on Battery

button on PMT, the tool will automatic running to
upgrade NodeB Version by the status below :

4. During automatic upgrade , service of site will down and
it will take around 30~45 minutes to upgrade, when the
status change to :

Means upgrade completed, then switch off Battery

The NodeB will automatic reboot and service recovery
after 10 minutes
5. Site engineer must inform RNC team to check from
background to confirm no alarms related to version
upgrade and service is up
If the light of RET showing red color means upgrade failed,
please send the log from USB Disk to RNC team to
analyze.
