MAKEДОНИЈА
Роден е во 1940 година. Завршил Филозофски
Факултет. Карикатурата му била преокупација
од најрано детство,активно почнал да објавува
од 1969 година. Во поранешните југословенски
простори беше редовен соработник во повеќе
значајни весници и списанија, како и во
странство каде беше препечатуван. Во 1977
година ја издава книгата под име “Рогови“. Поп-
Илиев е еден од основачите на Асоцијацијата на
Карикатуристи на Македонија, иницијатор и
организатор на првите македонски изложби во
странство. Првата самостојна изложба ја имал
на фестивалот “Сатирикон“ во Ленгица –
Полска во 1980 година. Илустратор е на повеќе
книги и учебници. Застапен е во повеќе музеи на
карикатури во светот. Негови карикатури се
публикувани во околу 350 каталози од конкурси
и изложби на карикатура. Денес е еден од
најактивните карикатуристи во Македонија.
Има добиено повеќе од 50 меѓународни награди
и признанија.

Roden e vo 1940 godina. Završil Filozofski
Fakultet. Karikaturata mu bila preokupacija od
najrano detstvo,aktivno poènal da objavuva od
1969 godina. Vo poranešnite jugoslovenski prostori
beše redoven sorabotnik vo poveќe znaèajni vesnici
i spisanija, kako i vo stranstvo kade beše
prepeèatuvan. Vo 1977 godina ja izdava knigata pod
ime “Rogovi“. Pop-Iliev e eden od osnovaèite na
Asocijacijata na Karikaturisti na Makedonija,
inicijator i organizator na prvite makedonski izložbi
vo stranstvo. Prvata samostojna izložba ja imal na
festivalot “Satirikon“ vo Lengica – Polska vo 1980
godina. Ilustrator e na poveќe knigi i uèebnici.
Zastapen e vo poveќe muzei na karikaturi vo svetot.
Negovi karikaturi se publikuvani vo okolu 350
katalozi od konkursi i izložbi na karikatura. Denes e
eden od najaktivnite karikaturisti vo Makedonija.
Ima dobieno poveќe od 50 meѓunarodni nagradi i
priznanija.

Mileta Miloradovic – cartoonist

SERBIA
Born 1948 in Kragujevac, Serbia. Works as
cartoonist in Serbian satirical magazine “Ošišani
Jež”. Besides in the home office, his cartoons
were published in other newspapers and
magazines. Till now he has seven individual
exhibits, and at the competitions in country and
abroad won 'is important prizes and several
recognitions.

Ahmet Aykanat
TURKEY
Cartoonist, educator. He was born
in Alaşehir in 1950. He earned his
collage degree in philosophy at
İstanbul University, School of
Literature in 1974. He taught
Philosophy, Esthetics classes at
Uludag University (Bursa-
Turkey), Department of Primary
School Education. He also
pioneered and taught cartoon
classes at the same university.

His works has been published in

several local and nationwide
periodicals since 1969. His first
personal exhibition took place in
1973. He attended many
international exhibitions and, and
opened personal exhibitions in
Cyprus, Holland, South Korea,
Italy.
He published three cartoon albums

Biennial
1. Participation
The contest is open to all artists regardless of nationality, age,
sex, etc.
2. Organizer
The organizers are "Master" Illustrators's Federation and
Beijing Cartoon Center.
3. Theme
A) Fish –The artwork of demiurge? The spirit of water?
Human's pet? or for our food and sport?
B) Butterfly –The world becomes beautiful for you.
4. Entries
4-1) The works whether they have been awarded in other
contests previously will be accepted.
4-2) Participators should summit the original works. Any
slide, photograph or xerox will not be accepted.
4-3) The maximum five entries should be submitted for each
category.
4-4) The maximum size of the works should be 300 x 420
mm(11.81 x 16.54 inch) respectively.
4-5) The works should be accompanied by the author's
resume and photo (caricature).
4-6) First name, Last name, Address, Email, Telephone
number and selling price should be written on the reverse side
of the works.
4-7) Technique and medium of works are unlimited. Any
painting, print making will be accepted.
5. Entry Form

6. Deadline and Exhibition
6-1) The deadline for entry is the 1st of October 2007.
6-2) The Opening of the exhibitions will take place in
"Master" Illustrators's House on December, 2007.

7．Delivery
7-1) The entries must be flat protected with hard cardboard,
or rolled in a hard case. The folded works will not be
accepted.

8. Judgment
8-1) The president of jury group is Dachuan Xia, well known
artist and the secretary-general of China artist's association
cartoon committee.
8-2) The jury meeting will be held on 20th October 2007.
8-3) Biennial will announce the result on November,1,2007 on
web site. At the same time organizer will contact the winning
artists via postal mail or email.
9. Prizes
9-1) Grand Master prize –Master Cup plus 2000 US Dollars
(after tax). The winner will be invited to Beijing for ceremony
and one week holiday, the organizer will cover the traveling
tickit and hotel.
9-2) "Master" Illustrators's Federation prize –Master Cup
plus statuette. The winner will be invited to Beijing for
ceremony and one week holiday, the organizer will cover the
traveling tickit and hotel.
9-3) Master prize –Master Cup plus statuette –10 works.
9-4) Special prize of organizers and sponsors–10 works.
9-5) The honorary prize –30 works.
10. Copyright and selling
10-1) Explicitly participators have whole copyright for their
entries, of course organizers may use some works on web site
and other media for spreading biennial and artists.
10-2) All the works will be available for selling base on selling
price given by authors. Organizers will keep 10% of the
selling price, the others will be remitted to authors directly,
but the authors should bear the tax according to the Chinese
tax regulations.
11. Catalog
The authors whose works has been selected will receive one
copy of the catalog made for the contest.
12. Provisions
12-1) The submitted works will not be returned. They will be
collected in "Master" Illustrators's house.
12-2) Participation in the contest means the complete
acceptance of all the above conditions and agreements with
jury's decision.

II The Competition of a Caricature and a

Short Comic Strip 2007.
www.zikison.net and The SRZ (SRŽ) – The
Satirical Manufactory "Žikišon"
(Satirična Radionica Žikišon)
are announcing in the categories, the themes:

1. THE PORTRAIT CARICATURE "ŽIKIŠON" WITHOUT

WORDS. How do caricaturists imagine "Žikišon" and his life
time?

2. THE CARICATURE WITHOUT WORDS – FREE FORM.

For both of categories you can send up to 3 works on A/4
size of paper, up to 200 KB by E-mail, any technique is
allowed.

3. THE SHORT ALTERNATIVE COMIC STRIP – FREE

FORM. A board needs to content up to 6 squares , A/3
format, up 400 KB by E-mail, any technique is allowed, up
to 3 boards in a work or 3 boards of a single strip.

The competition will be opened and free for all of the

professionals and amateurs, for affirmed and unknown authors
from 7 to 77 years of age, for all people on this planet but in the
case if someone appears from other planet then we will become
the first interplanetar competition.

AWARDS: The first award in each of three categories - a

presentation on a particular page on the site www.zikison.net
and kiks (Caricature and Short Cartoon).

Works can be sent by E-mail zikison.mazos@gmail.com &

mazospn@gmail.com with author's short biography and
photography. All of received works will not be returned to the
senders. The organization of this project keeps the right for
using and publishing of received works for the organization's
needs.

The competition will be opened to November 1, 2007.

ZIKISON (1885. - 1950.): Was a Satirist, a caricaturist, an

editor, a publisher, and a printer. Between two wars in Serbia
he was an actuator, a Co – Author editor of many of newspaper
for humor and satire. He has been suffering and imprisoned by
Communist Regime in 1949. Soon after that torture and seizing
his property, he was died in 1950.
