Understanding Context: Jacksonian Democracy

The United States was evolving regionally and economically in the early 19 th
century, which led to changes in democracy. Lets get some background knowledge
of the changes in America that were happening around the time when Andrew
Jackson was elected president.

The US was separating into three distinct regions. Describe them in the chart below.
