HUBUNGAN PELAKSANAAN KONSELING KB PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR

DAN PEMILIHAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI YANG TEPAT DI WILAYAH KERJA
PUSKESMAS GANDUS PALEMBANG

Latar belakang: Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan alat kontrasepsi,
salah satunya adalah konseling KB. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan
pelaksanaan konseling KB pada wanita usia subur dan pemilihan alat kontrasepsi yang tepat
di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Gandus Palembang.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik desain cross sectional
menggunakan data primer, yaitu kuisioner. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah semua wanita
yang datang ke tempat pelayanan kesehatan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Gandus
Palembang. Jumlah sampel yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 100 wanita usia
subur yang datang ke Praktek Bidan Swasta, Puskesmas Pembantu di Wilayah kerja
Puskesmas di Kecamatan Gandus dan Bagian KIA/KB Puskesmas Gandus Palembang. Data
diolah untuk selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan agar mengetahui distribusi karakteristik
wanita usia subur setelah itu dilakukan analisis bivariat menggunakan metode Fisher exact
untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel.
Hasil: Dari 100 subjek penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar wanita usia subur yang
menggunakan kontrasepsi adalah usia 20-30 tahun (52%), jumlah anak 2 (38%), wanita
yang berstatus peserta KB aktif (91%), cara KB terakhir suntikan (78%), pendidikan
terakhir suami SMP (46%), dan pendidikan terakhir istri SMP (44%). Hasil uji Fisher exact
menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pelaksanaan konseling KB dan pemilihan alat
kontrasepsi yang tepat dengan nilai p = 0,649, PR= 0,69.
Kesimpulan:Konseling KB tidak berhubungan dengan pemilihan alat kontrasepsi yang
tepat.

ASSOCIATION OF COUNSELING ON FAMILY PLANNING IN WOMEN IN

REPRODUCTIVE AGE AND THE SELECTION OF APPROPRIATE
CONTRACEPTION AT THE WORKING AREA OF GANDUS COMMUNITY
HEALTH CENTER PALEMBANG

Background: There are some factors that affect the selection of appropriate contraception,
one of them is counseling on family planning. This study aims to determine the association
of counseling on family planning in women in reproductive age and selection of appropriate
contraception at the working area of Gandus Health Center Palembang.
Methods: This research was an analytic observational study with cross sectional design
using questionnaire. The population of this research were all women who came to health
facility in the working area of Gandus Health Center. The amount of sample that we got in
this research were 100 womens who came to private midwives practice , and co-health
center in the working area of health center in the Gandus District and Mother-child health
and Family Planning Gandus Health Center Palembang. The data was processed for further
calculations in order to determine the distribution of womens characteristic and bivariate
analysis was performed using Fisher exact method to determine the relationship between
variables.
Results: Among 100 subjects, the study showed that the majority of women in reproductive
age who use contraception are 20-30 years (52%), the number of children 2 (38%), the
woman with the status of active family planning participants (91%), using injection
contraception (78%), husbands latest education is junior high school (46%), and wifes
latest education is junior high school (44%). The result of Fisher exact analysis was no
relationship between counseling on family planning and the selection of appropriate
contraception with p value = 0.649, PR= 0,69.
Conclusion: Counseling on family planning has no relationship with the selection of
appropriate contraception.
