This document discusses the structural, optical, and electronic properties of silver-titanium dioxide nanocomposite thin films. Silver nanoparticles were incorporated into titanium dioxide thin films using a sol-gel method and characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, UV-visible spectroscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The incorporation of silver nanoparticles was found to enhance the optical absorption and photoluminescence properties of the titanium dioxide thin films.
