About the Book

39 Clues The Maze of Bones is the first book, of the first
series. There are four series, first the Clue Hunt, second
Cahills vs. Vespers, third is Unstoppable and the last series is
Doublecross. I chose this book out of the ten from the first
series because it is my favorite. The 39 Clues revolves
around a family called the Cahills the family where the most
successful people in history come from like Benjamin
Franklin, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, William Shakespeare,
Shaka Zulu and Nikola Tesla. In this particular book the story
starts in the death of the two main Dan and Amy Cahill
characters grandmother Grace Cahill and the Clue Hunt
starts in their grandmothers funeral.

About the Author

Rick Riordan
Richard Russell "Rick" Riordan, Jr. is an American author
known for writing the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series,
which is about a twelve-year-old who discovers he is the son
of Poseidon. He is the main author or writer of the 39 Clues,
along with Jude Watson, Patrick Carman, Peter Lerangis,
Linda Sue Park, Margaret Peterson Haddix. Being one of the
most successful authors or writers of our generation he has
a lot of great books and awards with him. His most famous
book collection is The Percy Jackson and the Olympians
series. He for some reason has a part of him in all of his
works but in the 39 Clues collection he really has part of the
series because he is in the series. He belongs to the Janus Branch. He is one of their
most respected leaders and agents. He and along the other authors or writers are
agents that worked together to bring forth the 39 Clues books to recruit people
through the website or through the books.
Summary

When Old Grace Cahill kicks the bucket, her will reveals the first in a series of
secrets that will take her heirs on an adventure around the world. Key among
them are Amy and Dan Cahill, a brother and sister team determined to
discover Grace's secrets. With the help of their glitter eye shadow-wearing,
nose-ring-rocking au pair, Nellie, the three of them travel to Philadelphia and
Paris on the trail of that guy on the front of the $100 bill:Benjamin Franklin.

Along the way, they have to evade their conniving relatives. The Starling
triplets interfere in Philadelphia, but are knocked out in an explosion meant
for Amy and Dan. In Paris, former KGB agent Irina Spasky leads them into a
trap; the Holts, a family of meatheads, almost get Amy and Dan buried alive;
and their Uncle Alistairalleged inventor of the microwave burrito
repeatedly betrays their trust. All along the way they're watched from a
distance by the super creepy man in black who is secretly in cahoots with
William McIntyre, Grace's attorney.

Eventually, Amy, Dan, and Nellie find themselves in the Maze of Bones, an
intricate series of Catacombs under Paris. There, they discover the origins of
the four branches of the Cahill clan and a clue that will lead them to yet
another country in pursuit of secrets behind another historical
figure:Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Vienna, Austria. The hunt for clues is to
be continued.
Reflection to Real Life
Personally I think is a great story I have read the entire series
The Clue Hunt and what it really taught me is Not To Trust
anyone, not even your family. At least not entirely in this book
and the others the agents are backstabbing, sabotaging, killing
many more just to get all the 39 Clues and achieve ultimate
power. Second everyone has a talent. Whether you are rich or
poor you always have something special inside you. That is one
of the best things about the 39 Clues, they tried to say that if
he can do it you can do it, one way or another. The third lesson
is we should learn to believe in ourselves.

Recommendation
I highly recommend this to teenagers 13 at least to read. It is a
great book and the series itself will teach you a lot of things.
