See http://epltt.coe.uga.edu/index.php?title=Bloom%27s_Taxonomy Remembering Understanding Analyzing Description of how to implement in the class: Students would have previously read a chapter covering two characters From To Kill a Mocking Bird I prefer the protagonist (children) the night before. As a Do Now (Warmup) I would have 1 quote for each character and ask students how these quotes connect to a specific symbol toward the plot. I would then have students create a character web for the two children and ask them to compare and contrast interactions from other characters from the novel such as Boo Radley and Tom Robinson. Students will then be paired in groups of 3 but in a process of think pair share. Later after each group has presented their character webs; I will introduce the homework assignment on BrainPop and ask students to support their answers with evidence from the text. I would have previously had a survey for students to complete stating whether or not they had internet access at home therefore during the end of class I could gently give them a printout form of the assignment so they dont feel embarrassed or alienated.
