experience in CPS in Tuam. I started work at 9.15 in the morning and finished at 4.00 in the afternoon. When I arrived I was given safety glasses from the store room and was brought to one of the rooms where there was about eight workers working on machines. I had to stay with Tom again. He was still working on the aluminium sheets he had been working on the previous weeks. He explained to me how the machines in that room worked and what they were making. I didnt have many jobs to do other than watching what he did but I did have to peel the plastic of the rectangular sheets of aluminium and sand the jagged edges of them. I also cleaned the milk substance of them after the machine is finished with them. I learned what the machines are used for, the companies they make the stuff for and that the milk is a substance sprayed onto the drill as it is drilling to keep in cool so as to pro-long its life.
