Faded

Our once vivid past fades to muted grey,

History forgotten, you move ahead.

Pushed to the side, you create new cliches,

Your neglect pierced my heart, our friendship bled.

My mind wanders distracted, Im dazed,

You think youre liable for my harsh grief,

Now Im your second choice, I am amazed.

My colors fade like a late autumn leaf.

Drained, this confliction is neverending

For now it is my own choice to expand

Our divide goes on, no chance of mending.

What used to be lively, now tastes so bland.

It was your choice to push me far away,

Our once crimson rose, now a bitter grey.
