Mr. Lindens library

He warned her about the book,
But it was too late...

It was 1995. I am a girl named Mary with a brother named

Jackson and a sister named Josie with a mom and dad named Adam
and Jessica. We are the Wilkerson family. I liked reading books like
everyone does. One day I went to Mr. Lindens library and picked out
a scary book called a life of a clown. Mr. Linden warned me about
that book because one kid came in several weeks ago and got that
same book, but the thing is that he never returned the book and never
came back..
Mr. Linden got a new copy of a life of a clown. I was a
little scared when he told me about that story. My brother Jackson
texted me saying Mary come home for supper and I said ok.. When I
walked out from the library, I felt something in this book that would
I dont know like I will be cursed for the rest of my life. When I got
home, I set the book down and thought I saw the clowns eyes move on
the cover but then I heard my mom say it was time for supper. I saw
she made tacos for us. Josie started digging in but Jackson liked to
savor his food. It was fresh so I started to dig in. It was good. My mom
makes good food but when I saw the place I sat my book at, it wasnt
there! When I went upstairs for bed, I found my book up their and
thought that was strange I sat down and read my book.. It was super
scary liked Mr. Linden said.

When I read these words lets play I fell through my bed and
saw it was a portal to another dimension. I was so scared and fell on
a big rock. It kind of looked like space The background was so
colorful! I saw a creepy clown on a tricycle and he said lets play! I
thought I heard that before. I saw another kid with the same book I

had in my hands - a life of a clown. I heard my mom calling me above

me but I never saw her but then she saw me. I said hello to her but
then she saw the dimension. She looked down into it and she tried to
get me out. I jumped and jumped and never got out but then the
portal closed. I fell on my knees and started to get angry. I remember
Mr. Lindon told me that the book was dangerous. The clown took me
by the arm and threw me off the floating platform. I yelled at him but
he just laughed. I saw the kid who got this book and He pulled me
back on the platform. We ran up to him and we both threw him off
the floating platform. He fell and started to cry. He said that he just
wanted a regular life and said that he was cursed to be a clown
because he did dream of being a clown but not forever. But now, it
was time, time for me to say goodbye. Now Im cursed, Im stuck down
here, no company and no friends.
