- The term North Korea was coined because the government only
controlled the Northern part of the Korean Peninsula, and making the term
North Korea popular in the Western World.

Capital City: Pyongyang

Population: (as of 2016) 25.28 M

Main Religion: North Korea is an atheist and an agnostic country, wherein


the freedom of religion is not allowed. But there are small communities of
Buddhists and Christians.
Philosophical ideology: juche (rejecting dependence on others, using
ones brains, and believing in ones own strength)

Form of Government: Communist State and Dictatorship

Pyongyang is only for the elites (trustworthy, healthy and loyal citizens
can live there)
