Reflection Questions for Lessons Taught

Please answer the following questions at the completion of each

teaching experience

Weather Conditions Lesson

1.) Was the lesson successful. Why or Why Not?

a. This one was a little rougher. Girls dont really like to just
play for long periods of time like boys do so I probably
needed more activities planned. I felt like it was kind of all
over the place.
2.) How was student learning assessed throughout this lesson?
a. Observation and review worksheets
3.) Did all your students meet the lesson objectives. Why or Why
Not?
a. Yeah I think they did, it was more simple this time and
everyone got a chance to play multiple games so they
stayed moving and they all won multiple times no matter
what team they go put on.
4.) What evidence do you have that your students were learning
during your lesson?
a. They were very responsive to questions I asked and they
asked really good questions to clarify game rules then they
were able to apply them.
5.) If you taught this lesson again what would you do differently?

a. I would have an activity for the sitting team to do for sure

b. I would break up the main activity into smaller activities
6.) Give two examples how you can increase your students
motivation during your lessons with them.
a. Music playing would have been a really good way to
increase their motivation. This class thrives on music.
b. Have more activities to do so they dont get bored as fast.
7.) Write two goals with objectives on two different areas you would
like to focus on during your teaching in the next lesson.
a. Have at least one alternate activity for the waiting students
b. Ask at least 5 questions during the presentation to check
for understanding. (I lacked on this that lesson a little)
