Charging begins and takes approx. 12 hours. * After charging, push the reset bution (7) onthe back of the device. The display (1) tus on in time mode and the weekly timer can now be programmed, BATTERIES * Only use batteries of the best quality. Low-grade batteries could leak, causing damage to the device, * Do not dispose of batteries with your household waste! SET TIME OF DAY AND WEEKDAY + Push the SET/MODE button (6) to switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display. The PM (M) symbol indicates that 12-hour display is activated during pm hours. + Push and hold the SET/MODE (6) button for approx. three seconds. The display shows the symbols SET (I) and CLOCK (H) and the weekday symbol MO (A) blinks. * Push the RND/+ button (5) or CD/- button (3) to set the weekday: MO = Monday TU = Tuesday WE = Wednesday TH = Thursday FR = Friday SA = Saturday SU = Sunday + To confirm setting, push the SET/MODE button (6). * The hour symbol (L) blinks, Push the RND/+ button (6) to increase or the CD/- button (3) to decrease the setting by one hour. To manually switch to time mode, push the SET/MODE button (6). Please note that all settings currently being made must be finished and no display symbols may be blinking DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME You can set the timer to daylight saving time without changing the time: * While in time mode, push and hold the SETIMODE button (6) and push the button & (2) until the daylight saving time symbol # (N) appears on the display (1). When the random function is activated, all other preset programs are deactivated. The electrical device connected to the timer will now turn on and off continuously. + Push the RND/+ button (5) again to deactivate the random function. ‘Time-restricted shor intervals: switch-on time: 20 - 40 minutes, switch-off time: 40 - 80 minutes Set the desired time for the random function in switching program 20 (see Program switch-on and off times). + In switching program 20, push the RNDI+ button (5). The electrical device connected to the timer will now turn on and off at the set interval + When the electrical device is tured on, RIND (J) blinks on the display (1) + When the electrical device is turied off, RIND (J) is shown on the display (1) + Push the RND/+ button (5) again to deactivate the random function DEACTIVATE/REACTIVATE PROGRAMS You can individually or completely deactivate set programs without deleting the settings. + To deactivate an individual program, select the desired program. + Push the SET/MODE button (6) for approx. three seconds until the weekday (A) blinks on the display (1). + Push the button © (2) until X(B) appears on the display (1), the program is now deactivated. + Repeat these steps to reactivate the program. + To deactivate all programs, push the SET/MODE button (6) for approx. three seconds in time mode until the weekday (A) blinks on the display (1). + Push the button © (2) until X (B) appears on the display (1), all programs are now deactivated. + Repeat these steps to reactivate all programs. MANUALLY TURN DEVICE ON/OFF ‘As long as random function is not activated, you can turn a connected electrical device on or off manually + Push the button © (2) in time mode until ON (E) or OFF (E) blinks on the display (1).
