Lift up the back and left side of the top cover about 4 cm to release the lett latch on the front (arrow! and 2). Pushto the right (arow3) to clear the valume control from the top cover. 6. Rotate the top cover and display assembly forvverc!to release the right latch. Remove one M2.5x6 brass screwand a plastic brace. 3.Lif up the HDD battery board ‘CD-ROM DRIVE REMOVAL CD-ROM drive CD-ROM exible cable Pusat M2.Sx4 brass screw 1. Disconnect the CD-ROMMflexible cable from P.J304 on the system board. 2, Remove one MB.Sx4 brass screw scauling the CD-ROM. drive. 3, Slide out the CD-ROM drive. Remove two M2.5x4 brass screws securing the FDD and lit the FDD out. 3. Remove four WP.Sx3 brass screws securing the FDD tothe FDD case. 4, Disconnect the FDD flexible cable from the FDD. Side brace PM2x3 silver Puen 4. Remove two M2x6 brass screws secuiing the CD-ROM connector assembly. 5. Separate the CD-ROM connector andthe connector brace from the CD-ROM dive 8. Disconnect the RTC battery cable fiom PJ702 on the ‘sound board. 3. Disconnect the backup battery cable from PJ701 on the ‘sound board. 4,Lift out the RTC and backup battery. Lift up the ound board. 1, Remove the insulator and disconnect the sound cable from PJTO3 on the sound board, 2. Remove the following seven screws securing the system board and PC card slot cover - 2.NB.5x4 flat head brass screws - 4ND.5x4 brass screws. -1ND.5x6 brass screw 3. Litup the system board on the font end to remave the PC card slot cover. 4, Disconnect the following cables fom the eystem board - HDD battery cable fromPJ300 - Battery power cable fromPJ501 - Sound cable from P1302 TOSHIBA Tough Enough for Todays Word. Disconnect the fan eable fram P. on the system board 3.
