Please find enclosed my cover letter for the Shell Graduate Program.

I am pursuing my M.A. in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations from Tata Institute of
Social Sciences. I have undergone my summer internship at Philips Lighting India Limited and was
awarded a PPI from the same organization. Throughout my various field works at TISS I have been
exposed to various facets of the HR Domain.

The nature of my degree course at NIFT provided me with a set of diverse experiences. From
working with artisans in villages to interacting with the countrys elite at fashion weeks, from
publishing internationally to spearheading large teams and being at the helm of events of repute,
NIFT provided me with diverse experiences that helped me broaden my perspective and understand
business nuances as well as customer needs.

This training laid the perfect foundation for associating with a global fashion startup for their new
developments as well as gaining experience at one of the countrys largest export House, Shahi
Exports where I was responsible for liaising between the client (Tommy Hilfiger) and multiple
departments of the export house at every stage of manufacturing. Working in the export business,
with its sweatshop-like conditions, tight deadlines and dealing with temperamental labor, I learnt
the importance of planning and management.

My goal is to drive a culture that is dynamic and fosters innovation. Embracing change is one
quality I associate with, the most and hence myself find a right fit for Shells leadership principles.

I have heard of the Shell Graduate Program and about the various features of the same. I would like
to apply to the program as I want to be part of the Shell community and go through the strenuous
program to emerge as a leader in the HR discipline.

I am looking to bring my well honed interpersonal and communication skills to succeed in the role.
