Continuing Professional Development

During the past years, I continued to improve and enhance both of my practical and
academic skills to assist in achieving engineering outcomes. A brief summary of my
continuing professional development is given as mentioned below.

Technical Development
I learned the new developments, and the techniques for Mechanical Engineering during
the last five years through a lot of well-reputable organizations.

I joined the internal trainings which my companies organized as the following :

Energy University by Schneider Electric online courses ,2015, January - April

2015, in Le Meridien Cairo Airport Hotel (Starwood hotels).
The design, operation, and maintenance of building (BOMI Institute) ,2014,
August - December, in Le Meridien Cairo Airport Hotel (Starwood hotels).
Building Management System (BMS) controlling , 2013, March-April 2013, in
Savoy Group for hotels and resorts.
Water treatment for chillers and boilers, 2012, 5 days training by a chemical
suppliers representative, in Savoy Group for hotels and resorts
Boeing B737-800 with CFM56 engine for maintenance engineers , 2011, 47
days, in Egypt Air Training Center
Human Factor for maintenance engineers, 2011, 5 days, in Egypt Air Training
Center.
License without type rating (LWTR) , 2011, 12 months training from May 2010
to May 2011, in Egypt Air for maintenance and engineering.
Basic course for aeronautical engineers (airframe & Power plant, 2009, 6
months, in National Civil Aviation Training organization.

Private Study
I always read technical literature and manuals which are related to Mechanical
Engineering especially the maintenance field. I used to read associated books when I
realized that I needed to expand my technical knowledge in some specific issue. For
Example I read the following books : Quality Assurance, Fundamentals of fluid
mechanics, Thermodynamics, MATLAB program, AutoCAD 2D program, Design by
PATRAN Program (Stress analysis), Design by NASTRAN program (Stress analysis).

I constantly have an opportunity to become familiar with new methods and techniques in
my discipline and to expand my knowledge.
