Read the following instructions carefully:

1. Candidates have been provisionally selected for engagement as apprentices subject to their
being found medically fit by our Corporations Chief Medical Officer at any of the refinery
hospitals at Digboi, Guwahati, Haldia, Barauni, Mathura, Panipat or Koyali (Baroda) as per
IndianOils pre-employment medical standard.
2. For information, the guidelines and criteria for Physical Fitness for Pre-employment Medical
Examination required for employment in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. are available on the

3. The last date for reporting for medical examination is 18.01.2017
4. Candidates are advised to intimate their date of reporting for pre-employment medical
examination and the location in which they would report for medical examination latest by
11.01.2017 through e-mail at grrecruitment@indianoil.in. (Candidates are advised to clearly
mention their name, roll no. and trade/discipline in the e-mail)

5. Candidates are advised to report for medical examination only after receipt of confirmation
from Recruitment Cell, Guwahati Refinery.

6. It is clarified to the candidates that their candidature is PROVISIONAL and is subject to their
meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria. (For details kindly refer to our Advertisement No.
GR/P/TA/16) and subsequent verification of certificates /testimonials. At any stage, if it is
found that a candidate has furnished false or incorrect information then his candidature /
engagement is liable to be cancelled.

7. It may be noted that the provisional selection does not confer any claim or right for
engagement as Apprentice in this Corporation, which will be subject to the candidates being
found medically fit and fulfilling other terms and conditions for engagement under the
applicable rules of the Corporation.
