Purpose of this document

The purpose of the document is to guide the end users on usage of Office 365 Pro Plus in their personal
devices.

Scope of this document

This document provides the information for the end user on installation of Office 365 Pro Plus on multiple
personal devices. For any specific requests, other than the default options mentioned in the document,
please contact CIS GSD.

Definitions, Abbreviation and Acronyms

The terms in use in the document are explained below

Install Office 365 ProPlus for Windows
1) Sign in to Office 365 https://email.mindtree.com or
https://outlook.com/owa/mindtree.com
2) Go to Setting > Office 365

 3) Click on > Software.

4) On the Office page, select required Language, click on Advanced to select 32bit or 64bit
version & then finally click Install.

 5) At the bottom of the screen, select Run

6) Follow the prompts and accept the license agreement.

7) When you see "You're good to go," select All done.

Install Office 365 ProPlus On Mac

1) Sign in to Office 365 https://email.mindtree.com or
https://outlook.com/owa/mindtree.com
2) Go to Setting > Office 365 Settings > Software.
3) On the Office page, select a Language, Version and then click Install. This will install Office
for Mac 2011.
4) After the disk image file finishes downloading, select the .dmg file to open the Office
installer.

 5) Accept the license agreement and enter your Mac password to start installing.
6) On the Welcome to Office: mac screen, select Sign in to an existing Office 365
Subscription, and then sign in with your Mindtree account.

Install Office 365 ProPlus on Android Mobile Device

1) Download Office Mobile from Google Play Store and Insall.
2) Tap Office Mobile to open it. Swipe through the introduction, and then tap Get Started.
3) At the Sign in page, type your Mindtree Email ID and then tap Next.

4) Type your Mindtree Password, and then tap Sign in.

 5) After successful login Office Mobile is ready to use.

Installing and signing into Office on iPad & iPhone Mobile Device
1) If you don't have any Office apps on iPad installed, download the apps from the App Store.

Word , Excel , PowerPoint , OneNote

2) Tap any Office app to open it. Swipe through the introduction, and tap Sign In.

3) On the Sign in page, type your Mindtree Email ID and then tap Next.

4) Type your Mindtree Password, and then tap Sign in

 5) After you complete the sign in process on one of the Office apps, your OneDrive for
Business service is automatically added to the other Office apps installed on your iPad.

6) Tap Create and Edit Documents to start working on your documents.

7) To View documents in your OneDrive tap Open > OneDrive - Mindtree Limited you'll see
the list of files you saved to OneDrive for Business.

1. What is Office365 Pro Plus?

a. Office365 ProPlus is similar to the other version of Office but it is a user-based service that
provides Office application to Users via Internet ( i.e. Cloud Services )

2. Can I install Office365 ProPlus on my Windows PC or Mac?

a. Yes you can install Office365 ProPlus on your Windows PC or MAC.

3. This is applicable to whom?

a. This is only applicable to users whose mailbox is on O365 cloud.

4. Can I install Office365 ProPlus on my Mobile Devices?

a. Yes you can install Office365 ProPlus on your Tablets, Windows, Android, IOS, Mobile Devices.

5. On how many Devices I can install Office365 ProPlus?

a. You can install on 15 devices i.e., 5 mobile phones and 5 laptops/desktop and 5 tablets.

6. Do I need an Internet connection to use Office365 ProPlus?

a. You need not have persistent internet connection to use Office365 ProPlus. But you need internet
access to download the Office 365 ProPlus & as it is tagged to an active Mindtree account it may
perform a daily check for user account status when you are on internet.

7. What is the difference between Office 365 ProPlus and Office Professional 2013?
a. Office Professional 2013 is a traditional Office installation that is tied to the computers it is installed
on. Office365 ProPlus is a user based service available on cloud which can be setup on the go.

8. How long Office 365 ProPlus can be used?

a. This would be active as long as user is a Mindtree Mind.

9. How can I setup Office365 ProPlus on my PC or Mobile devices?
