PASTOR ANITA

 Your Perfect Shield

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him (Psalm 28:7).

T rust is a great word. It means to depend entirely and totally on, to consistently
hold on to without any room for doubt. Countless times and in countless
circumstances, those who have put their trust in God have never been ashamed. Although
adversity will come, you will be triumphant because your trust is not in man but in
Gods Word.
Yes, challenges may come from everywhere but the Bible says that He will give His
angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways (Psalm 91:9-12). When you find
yourself in a place where you know you need His protection, ask Him to shield you.
God says to you, I am your shield and your exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
He knows His sons and daughters who worship Him in spirit and in truth can
sometimes be deceived and become victims of people they have erroneously trusted.
He knows a plot could be hatched out against His special possession, like when Judas
Iscariot betrayed the Lord Jesus with a kiss. But even in all these, be confident of one
thing: God is a shield for you; He is your glory and the Lifter of your head. He lifts up
your head again and again. One thing about the shield of God is that you can never
know just how much its been protecting you. God has delivered you from troubles,
accidents, debt, sickness and all kinds of evil that you didnt even know about. He is
ever watching out for you and your household to bless and protect you; He is your
perfect shield.
